Your role:
We are looking for a Communications Manager to enhance our Surface Solutions Business Unit. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all communication aspects for the unit. You will collaborate closely with business leaders to develop and execute a strategic communications plan for the year, while also managing daily communication activities. Your responsibilities will encompass marketing communications, internal and external communications.
Key tasks include managing trade media relations, social media strategies, innovation communications, executive communications, employee engagement, and web management (intranet and internet). You will also focus on developing key messaging that resonates with our audience. This position is vital as we prepare for the planned divestment of Surface Solutions.
Your enthusiasm for technology and science, along with your collaborative spirit and commitment to executing communication projects effectively, will play a crucial role in driving our success.

Who you are:
- Unive rsity degree with focus on communications
- At least 5 years of experience in communication functions within international organizations
- Proven experience in global marketing communications in a related industry
- Passion for innovative, technology-driven businesses, with a solid understanding of the pigments, coatings and cosmetics industries
- Demonstrated ability to drive change and establish internal standards effectively.
- Experience working in intercultural environments
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English with proficiency in German
