Electronics Senior Business Functions and Project Controller (all genders) full/part-time
Your role:
You will be the finance business partner for the Electronics Enabling functions: Digital and Data Information Technologies, Communications, Finance, Procurement & HR. With this role, y ou will be the primary financial expert for several Electronics Executive committee members and involved in their strategic and operational financial topics. You will also provide controlling support for critical IT projects. Based on your strong data literacy and excellent technology and analytical skills, you are quickly able to provide a strong basis for data driven decision making. Sound controlling, project management acumen, teamwork and accounting/process expertise will be essential for your business partnering success. Your responsibilities:
Controlling and Business partnering, including FP&A activities, for Electronics Enabling Functions. Project support for RISE ERP Program, IT Operational Technology rollout, cyber security upgrade and other high priority IT projects. Reporting, analyzing and forecasting administration costs for Business Functions and coordinating the forecasting for Merck Group Functions, IT, Sector Business Functions, Sector Chief Technology Office, and Sector Strategy teams. Drive cost efficiency programs across the Electronics administration cost stack. Design and implement changes for administrative cost controlling as outlined by the Lumina steering concept
Who you are:
- You have a degree in Business Administration / Economics or equivalent
- You have min. 5-7 years experience in Controlling
- IT affinity to support the digitalization and IT priorities
- Pro-active, innovative mindset with the ability to prioritize
- Strong project management and organizational skills that
- Demonstated ability to drive efficiencies and eliminate waste through proper project management and excellent organization
- Effective communication skills that build credibility with Executive/Senior Managers
