Job Description:

A vacancy for a Equipment Development Engineer (d/f/m) Cabin Electronics position has arisen within KID-Systeme in Buxtehude (close to Hamburg-Finkenwerder) at the earliest possible start date.

Required qualifications

• You are graduated in electrical engineering, telecommunications or you have a similar education.-

• You have proven knowledge in electronic design incl. design-to-manufacturing.

• You are aware of current electronic technologies, architectures, standards and market trends.

• You have knowledge of certification regulation according RTCA DO-254, DO-160 and ABD0100 and experience in qualification testing.

• You have good communication skills and you like to organize teams.

• You are familiar with requirement-based engineering (e.g. Tool DOORS) andstandard office IT tools.

• You have good negotiating skills in English and German.

Your responsibilites

• You will have the technical lead on a development project for electronic equipment

• You develop electronic equipment for cabin systems. 

• You organize and review development for electronic equipment in context of aviation certification process

• You perform functional and environmental qualification testing according to aviation requirements.

• You create and verify detailed design data for certification and for production of equipment.

• You create and evaluate documents for supplier selection and you will monitor subcontractors.

• You work in co-operation with the project management, the software department, the production technology and the quality management.
