Our Software Organization is seeking a dynamic, motivated, and visionary Transformation Leader to guide the organization through a period of significant change and development. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the strategic transformation initiatives and change management that will shape the future of the learning organization promoting a culture of collaboration, automation, and continuous improvement.
Your responsibilities:
- Lead the organizational development (OD) and implementation of transformation strategies to enhance our software delivery capabilities and effectiveness.
- Our different product and platform teams aim to work as independently as possible. With your expertise and moderation, we will identify and implement the most suitable operating model for us.
- Promote the adoption of a software-centric mindset within the organization and across its boundaries.
- Evaluate and document our current operating model, while creating and maintaining a central wiki for the entire organization.
- Simplify our formal release process to align with today's expectations, ensuring it is automatable, scalable, and executable end-2-end within a single team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional, globally distributed teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and innovative learnings (e.g. maturity model & analysis).
- Drive change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to day-to-day development and operations.
- Develop training on methodologies and technologies to improve both effectiveness and efficiency.
- Establish, maintain, and drive strong transformation communities (e.g., "Community of Practices") to foster knowledge sharing and continuous growth.
- Measure the effectiveness of transformation efforts and make data-driven decisions to guide future directions.
Your skills and experience:
- Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, Change Management, business administration or related field or a comparable professional education with a longterm experience
- Longterm experience with global transformation programs within software organizations.
- Excellent change agent, Agile coach, systemic organizational coach, and collaborative team player with a well-established track record. Extensive hands-on experience in driving transformations, global delivery within industrial companies and knowledge about Development practices, including Lean, Agile (SAFe, Scrum), Continuous Delivery, and DevOps and interest in new AI technologies (GenAI).
- Out-of-the-box thinker, curious mindset, and ability to challenge the status quo.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with global cross-functional product streams and stakeholders.
- Proactive, resilient, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills applied to foster continuous learning, improvements and recommend effective solutions; listening to products and customer needs.
- Fluency in English and German (written, spoken) is a pre-requisite.
