In your new role as Head of DC Grids (f/m/d) you will be responsible of a diverse team of highly skilled Experts and R&D Managers, who are responsible for the development of technical solutions for our current and future DC Grid portfolio (HVDC and Grid Access).
How You'll Make an Impact
- As Head of DC grids, you lead a team responsible for the research and development of our HVDC and Grid Access solutions.
- You steer the strategic direction and operational implementation of our R&D activities, to strengthen our technological leadership and open up new markets.
- You are responsible for the management of all HVDC and Grid Access related R&D projects and support our execution projects, from the bidding phase to the acceptance, considering quality, cost, schedule and customer satisfaction.
- You foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement in your area.
- You maintain close communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders, such as management, sales, procurement, suppliers, authorities and customers.
What You Bring
- Completed university degree in a technical field, preferably in electrical engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in the area of HVDC, Grid Access or FACTS
- You have profound knowledge and experience in the fields of HVDC, Grid Access, power electronics, control technology, protection technology and system analysis
- You have proven success in leading and executing complex and demanding projects in an international environment.
- You possess strong analytical, conceptual and strategic skills as well as a high problem-solving competence.
- You distinguish yourself by a high customer orientation, a pronounced communication and presentation ability and a strong team and leadership competence.
- You are fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
