Head of GT Digital Grid Europe (f/m/d)
A Snapshot of Your Day
As the Regional Head of Europe for Digital Grid (f/m/d), you play a crucial role in leading the regional team towards successful project delivery and customer satisfaction. Directly reporting to the Head of Digital Grid, your primary responsibility is to act as Digital Grid's key representative in the region through proximity to customers, authorities and other stakeholders, supporting and coordinating internal stakeholders to achieve the optimal result for SE. This involves overseeing the smooth execution of projects within the region, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients. Your role involves strategic liaison with both strategy and sales organizations to develop and drive the execution of sales opportunities, align project execution with the broader goals of the company, ensuring a cohesive approach to growing the Digital Grid business.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Project Leadership: Guide the regional team to excel in delivering Digital Grid projects on time, within budget, and beyond client expectations.
- Strategic Support & Communication: Act as a key support to Market Application teams and a communication bridge between Digital Grid leadership and the regional team, streamlining objectives and addressing challenges.
- Partnership & Collaboration: Cultivate strategic relationships with Strategy, HUB Business Development, and GT Sales, and promote cross-segment cooperation to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Insight & Innovation: Monitor market trends and customer needs, applying insights to operational strategies and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and best practice sharing.
- Decision Support: Provide operational insights to segment heads and engage in local SE Hub & GT Sales discussions, supporting informed decision-making and unified operational perspectives.
What You Bring
- Strong track record of leadership and strategic delivery in a global company as well as good knowledge of the energy transmission market
- Knowledge of energy policies/regulations in the region
- Have a university degree in an engineering discipline
- A minimum of 10 years of customer facing experience
- Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience in working in an intercultural environment with globally present teams and have demonstrated ability to work as a team player
