Head of Manufacturing Excellence (f/m/d)

We are looking for an experienced Head of Manufacturing Excellence (f/m/d) to lead the transformation, modernization, globalization and continuous development of the Global Manufacturing Network within the Electrification, Automation, and Digitalization (EAD) business.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Responsible for facilitation & implementation of continuous development & improvement - in regard of structures, standards, processes, best-practises & systems and of the EAD Global Manufacturing Network
- Define & lead transformation programs & initiatives across EAD Manufacturing & Operations for implementation of innovative manufacturing technologies, Industry 4.0. / Smart Factory and manufacturing principles (LEAN, Kaizen, WCM)
- Design & implement architecture for SOP-driven planning, forecasting & production process within an Engineer-to-Order environment
- Develop and build an internal lean manufacturing team while the EAD Global Manufacturing Network
- Develop a culture of continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and operational perfection within all manufacturing sites
- Develop and implement global dashboards to track critical metrics, analyze their performance, and coordinate efficiency programs across EAD Global Manufacturing Network
- Foster positive connections with collaborators in the Global Manufacturing Network, including R&D, Regions, and Global Operations, suppliers, and external partners, to improve network capabilities and drive innovation
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering / Business Administration or related field; Master's degree is advantageous
- At least 10 years of experience in Operations / Manufacturing leadership roles, preferable within Industrial / engineer-to-order environment
- Proven success in leading & implementing transformation & continuous improvement programs
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing teams and inspiring change
- In-depth knowledge of modern manufacturing principles e.g. LEAN, Kaizen, World Class Manufacturing
- Strong ability to develop effective strategies, understand financial matters, and manage projects efficiently
- Proficient in English, with additional language skills considered a plus
- Due to critical nature of defense business being part of this Business, EU citizenship required
- Regular national / International travel required (20-40%)

Our Transformation of Industry division is decarbonizing the industrial sector. Increasing electrification and efficiency are key and demand for green H2 and derivative fuels will rise. We enable decarbonization of the industrial sector and the transition to sustainable processes, building on a strong industrial customer base, a global network, diverse technologies, and integrated execution capabilities.
