Internship (d/f/m) Synthetic Data Generation with Unreal Engine

Duration: 6 months
1XRD is the Artificial Intelligence domain of Central Research & Technology composed of researchers and research engineers in artificial intelligence working to develop technologies bridging the gap between research and business. The team collaborates with academics and stirs research projects to push the state-of-the art towards solving Airbus relevant problems.

Your tasks and responsibilities

Creating synthetic data using Unreal Engine for training computer vision models for event cameras (event-based vision)

Translate requirements from aerospace scenarios into corresponding models and render (photo-realistic) video content using various assets

Supporting research activities in computer-vision for relevant demonstrators
Desired skills and qualifications

Student enrolled in computer science, information technology, mathematics, engineering, or any other field of study

Experience with Unreal Engine 5 and associated tool landscape

Experience demonstrated via a portfolio/examples of previous work is a plus

Able to work independently
-
Proficient in English
