What we expect
We are seeking a Lead Data Architect to advance our Data Platform, focusing on IoT data, analytics, and applications like machine learning and GenAI. Starting as an individual contributor, this role offers growth into team leadership. You will design and implement a governance-driven data platform using Azure technologies such as Data Factory, Power BI, ADLS, and Databricks, aligning with business goals in IoT data processing and analytics.
You will co-drive this journey with a dynamic and growing team that uses leading technology and works in a truly global setup to solve challenging problems, develop new business solutions and digital products:
- Data Platform Development: Build a scalable Azure-based Data Platform using a lakehouse and medallion framework for IoT data.
- Field Service Data Modeling: Develop data models and pipelines for field service businesses, integrating digital and data strategies.
- Data Governance: Establish governance frameworks to ensure data quality, security, and scalability while promoting reusable artifacts.
- Onboarding Data Sources: Integrate new data sources seamlessly into the platform.
- Program and Project Management: Lead complex programs and projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, efficient resource allocation, and timely delivery of results.
- Collaboration: Work with IT, R&D, Field, and Finance teams to address data needs.
- Mentorship: Guide architects and engineers, with potential to lead a team.
- Innovation: Incorporate advancements in Azure, machine learning, and GenAI.
- Platform Thinking: Promote a data platform-first mindset across the organization.
Who we are looking for
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Expertise in Azure technologies (Data Factory, Power BI, ADLS, Databricks) and medallion architecture.
- Experience with IoT data processing and high-volume data workflows.
- Proficiency in data modeling for field service management systems.
- Strong SQL and Python skills with ETL experience.
- Demonstrated ability to implement scalable data governance frameworks.
- Proven program management skills, including managing large-scale, cross-functional projects.
- Effective communicator across technical and business teams.
- Experience with machine learning and GenAI is a plus.
- Self-driven with a proven ability to manage priorities and deliver results.
