Masterthesis (d/f/m) in Turbulence Modeling Enhancement and Optimization for Vortex Flows
Job Description:
To support the Aerodynamic Design Team, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a
Master Thesis in Aerodynamic Turbulence Modeling Optimization for Vortex Flows (d/f/m)
In the context of high maneuverable aircraft, the aerodynamic characteristics are dominated by vortex flows separating around the highly swept wing planform. The accuracy of computational simulations of such flow conditions has been improved but still lacks for a proper generalized confidence level in certain regions of the envelope whereas it employs great potential to further thrive the accomplishments of the last years of research within Airbus. The project offers insight into turbulence modeling, numerical simulation of agile aircraft aerodynamics and methods development in physical modeling and/or optimization.
You are looking for a master thesis and want to get to know the work of an Aerodynamic Design Engineer? Then apply now! We look forward to you supporting us in the Aerodynamic Design department.!
