The Team – your impact
As a Monitoring & Observability Enablement Consultant (f/m/d) you will join one of E.ON’s Digital Technology initiatives. This means becoming a key member of a skilled team of Monitoring & Observability experts who will lead, shape, transform and Digitize our E.ON businesses across Europe.
Your Role – meaningful & rewarding
- Client Engagement & Consulting: Advise clients on the design, implementation, and optimization of monitoring and observability solutions using New Relic. Ensure that clients understand and leverage best practices to monitor and optimize their systems.
- Requirements Gathering: Work closely with clients to analyze their specific needs and use cases related to monitoring and observability. Translate these requirements into tailored solution concepts that align with their business objectives.
- Customization & Integration: Customize New Relic's capabilities according to client needs by developing bespoke dashboards, reports, alerts, and integrating the platform with other systems in close collaboration with the central product enablement team.
- Optimization: Continuously assess and refine monitoring configurations to optimize system performance, reduce downtime, and improve visibility into infrastructure and application health.
- Client Education: Provide custom training sessions and workshops for clients and internal teams, ensuring they are equipped to maximize the value of the New Relic platform in their day-to-day operations.
- Support & Troubleshooting: Serve as the go-to expert for troubleshooting complex issues, providing guidance to clients, and resolving problems to ensure optimal performance of monitoring systems.
- You actively communicate the value of observability, effectively convincing stakeholders of its benefits, and play a key role in driving a cultural shift towards its adoption.
Your Profile – authentic & open-minded
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with monitoring and observability solutions, depth experience with New Relic would be a plus.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructures (cloud, on-premise, containers, microservices) and their monitoring and performance optimization.
- Experience advising clients on complex IT projects, preferably in the monitoring and observability domain.
- Proficiency in adapting and extending dashboards, alerting rules, reporting, and integrations within New Relic.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Excellent German and English communication skills (written & spoken)
- Willingness to travel across Europe.
