The Team – your impact
Global Technology Platforms (GTP) is part of Technology Group. GTP builds, maintains, and continuously improves global scalable platforms for the E.ON group enabling product teams to focus on value-adding products built on top of efficient, resilient, and highly automated platforms. As part of our transition towards a product centric cloud-operating model (Nautilus), we will continue our close alignment and cooperation with the Business and Business IT colleagues, to make full use of all capabilities and technologies providing a stable foundation and end-to-end global platforms.
Your role - meaningful & rewarding
- Responsible for the product vision, strategy and roadmap of the Monitoring & Observability product
- Acts as the voice of the customer and is responsible for continuous product discovery, gathering feedback, performing stakehoder communication & expectation management to ensure a smooth roll-out
- Functional lead for the "Lumos" product team in close alignment with the domain lead
- Shares and manages product backlog (on the Epic Level)
- Responsible for commercial planning and success of the Monitoring & Observability product and maximizing its value
- Overall responsible for development of product KPIs, continuous measurement mechanisms to assess and increase achieved product value and adoption levels
- Overall responsible for Design, Build, Test, Deploy and Operations of the Observability platform
- Defines Observability platform technical design in close collaboration with the solution architect to meet functional requirements and ensures that these are in line with architectural decisions
- Drives topics around Monitoring & Observability innovation, new technology trends based on market best practices feeding into strategic decisions
- Accountable for all technical decisions for the Observability platform, while following governance structures established
- Acts as an interface and bridge between Platform, Enablement and CoE workstreams to ensure that platform build, enablement and roll-out activities are in line with each other
- Leads Monitoring & Observability Center of Excellence
- Manages and engages stakeholders across the organization
- Develop and maintain the Product Catalog and ensure alignment with high level roadmap
Your profile - authentic & open-minded
- Bachelor's or Master´s degree in Computer Science, Information technology, or a related field
- In-depth knowledge of E.ON business environment and its stakeholders
- Extensive Experience as acting product owner in an DevOps environment
- Extensive experience in strategic organizational planning, preferably in a technology services company
- Customer centricity and solution focused mindset
- Ability to communicate and influence all levels of the organization
- Knowledge of Observability capabilities and functionalities
- Proficient in written and spoken English – knowledge of German is a big plus
- Strong service orientation, confident and engaging communication with internal and external partners
