About the role:
As a Product Owner, you'll join a passionate team of professionals dedicated to collaboration and innovation. In this pivotal role, you will take charge of shaping our SAP-integrated products for Payments and Account Statements, directly reporting to the Product Manager for Payments. Get ready to dive into an exciting journey where your contributions will significantly impact our offerings!
Your day to day:
• Expert Knowledge: Leverage your expert-level understanding of the Payments business to gather and analyze data that informs product specifications and enhancements.
• Strategic Alignment: Ensure that our Payments solutions are aligned with the company's overall business goals, vision, and strategy, driving growth and innovation.
• Product Roadmap Ownership: Take full ownership of the product roadmap, effectively communicating updates and progress to stakeholders at all levels.
• SCRUM Methodology: As a SCRUM Product Owner, you will drive the backlog, facilitating a logical progression of delivery to maximize value.
• Accountability: Manage and be accountable for hitting all release timelines while ensuring that the roadmap includes the essential elements for the delivery of key epics.
• Customer Anticipation: Utilize your insights into future customer needs to shape our customer proposition, planning 3-5 years ahead for sustained relevance and competitiveness.
• Effective Communication: Communicate across diverse cultural contexts with adaptability in tone, detail, and formality to foster collaboration and understanding.
What you need to excel in this role:
• Educational Foundation: A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Computer Science, or relevant certifications such as PSPO, CSP-PO, or other equivalent credentials that highlight your professional commitment and expertise.
• Product Management Acumen: A solid understanding of product and project management concepts, practices, and procedures, empowering you to drive initiatives with confidence and clarity.
• Customer-Centric Focus: A strong customer-facing mindset that energizes your efforts to understand and fulfill user needs while delivering exceptional outcomes.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Payments regulatory requirements, enabling you to translate complex regulations into actionable product specifications that ensure compliance.
• Technical Translators: The ability to effectively interpret and document user requirements, transforming them into technical specifications that prioritize and advocate for customer needs.
• Analytical Skills: High numerical reasoning and logical thinking capabilities that equip you to solve problems creatively and innovate in your approach to challenges.
• Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of one or more relevant programming languages, frameworks, and databases that enhance your technical skills and application in product development.
• Adaptability and Resilience: A willingness to embrace significant changes in technology or the environment, coupled with resilience under pressure, allowing you to multi-task, prioritize effectively, and make informed decisions.
• Industry Insight: Previous experience and solid knowledge of SAP and B2B payments that positions you as a valuable asset to our team.
• Bilingual Communication: Excellent communication skills in both German and English, fostering effective engagement with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Treasury Experience: Experience in treasury and cash management is a noteworthy advantage that further enriches your profile.
