Program Manager (f/m/d) Global Growth Initiative Service for HVDC and FACTS

A Snapshot of Your Day
Today, you are on a business trip in Asia, discussing with partners how to organize a shared working approach to support the global service and refurbishment business. You bring together experts from Germany with local workers and managers to ensure effective collaboration despite cultural differences. Your main task is to organize and implement processes and communication channels, including interfaces between all parties, to ensure seamless cross-country relationships. This includes organizing knowledge transfer to secure long-term stable partnerships. You design, agree upon, and implement interfaces and division of responsibilities. A significant part of your work involves organizing Service Level Agreements to secure and stabilize the working environment and establish a trainee program to ensure knowledge levels are maintained across countries.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Analyze global available know-how, resources, and processes
  • Establish a global network for engineering and project execution for HVDC and FACTS service
  • Develop a plan to grow globally with an equal distribution of employees
  • Coordinate with the New Plant Business
  • Prepare and execute a comprehensive training and growth plan
  • Set up processes and organization to establish global hubs with defined responsibilities


What You Bring

  • Bachelor or Master in Electrical Engineering, focus in Informatics desired, and 10 years of experience in the relevant field Project Management
  • Strong leadership skills with a clear business focus and solid communication skills at the management level
  • Willingness to travel globally for approximately one-third of the time.
  • Professional experience in setting up global organizations, including establishing new work methods and lean processes
  • Experience with FACTS and HVDC technology is appreciated
  • Experience as the head of a globally distributed team
  • Fluency in written and spoken German and English, with a customer-oriented mindset and a willingness to go the extra mile
