Project Portfolio Manager Internal Digital Transformation

A Snapshot of Your Day
You play a pivotal role in driving the digital transformation of Siemens Energy. You will drive the development of digital projects and programmes covering all major processes of our organization. This notably includes the implementation and continuous improvement of new ERP and CRM platforms or Generative AI for the benefit of the business. You will manage all projects in close coordination of the relevant Independently Managed Businesses (IMBs) and be in charge of organisational change and process alignment across TI. We are looking for a pro-active, innovative, problem solver who gets things accomplished to ensure the success of our digital transformation journey.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Serve as primary point of contact for all internal digital transformation topics within the Transformation of Industry (TI) business area
• Collect and prioritize business requirements from a broad spectrum of stakeholders (from leadership to individual end users) across TI's IMBs and translate them into functional specifications and implementation plans for business software solutions
• Manage complex implementation projects, ensuring flawless integration and functionality across platforms, collaborating closely with Siemens Energy corporate IT and digital teams
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams at both TI and Siemens Energy level to align project goals with business objectives and ensure timely delivery
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success
• Initiate and coordinate organisational change as well as training and support initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new digital tools and processes
• Continuously evaluate and refine digital platforms to meet evolving business needs and technological advancements
• Propose and test new internal digital solutions that bring value for TI

What You Bring

• A degree in Industrial or Software Engineering, Data or IT Project management
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in digital transformation and project & change management with the implementation of complex business software solutions in areas like ERP, CRM, SRM, or BI
• Mastery of complex IT project implementations including process evolutions and change and risk management within that context
• Experience in strategic projects and/or management consulting as well as project management
• Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, Salesforce, data management and other data and digital tools. Understanding of value flows and digital platforms in a large enterprise is a must
• Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder management and experience of dealing with senior management
• Business-fluent English language skills, both written and verbal
• Strong presentation and analytical skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and translate it into actionable insights
• Flexibility and creativity in finding different solutions to achieve the highest value for various business-related topics
• Willingness to travel for business
