The Team – your impact
The chapter Software Development represents all experts who deliver essential software development and engineering capabilities to all our product teams. These experts are organized together to keep E.ON’s code base modern, secure, and excellent.
Your Role – meaningful & rewarding
- Developing future energy software to be run on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
- Automation of supporting infrastructure, like account provisioning, entitlement management etc. – Infra as Code
- Automating code deployment CI/CD, with the necessary stages like code scanning, security
- Working with data model, on SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, creating CDS views
- Manage integration to backed SAP systems (S/4)
- Support with integration to observability tools
Your Profile – authentic & open-minded
- Experience with at least one of the following programming languages: Java, Node.js, or ABAP (2-3 years of hands-on experience)
- Good understanding of SAP's programming models CAP and RAP, gained through practical application in projects
- Solid knowledge of core BTP services and a strong interest in continuously familiarizing yourself with the latest SAP technologies
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices and development productivity tools, based on 2-3 years of professional experience
- Hands-on experience with event messaging systems and familiarity with Steampunk is an advantage
- Passion for learning and making things happen, with a drive to successfully execute projects
- Experience with processes in utility companies is an advantage
