A Snapshot of Your Day
In this role, you will be working on the highly integrated SCADA component of our HVDC solution. From the start, you'll collaborate with our customers to understand and align their detailed requirements for the interface of their future transmission system. Your focus will be on delivering a seamless solution in close cooperation with both internal stakeholders and the customer.
Working with international teams, you'll ensure continuous and transparent communication to drive the success of these global HVDC projects.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Serve as Project Engineer in the HVDC Control & Protection department for SCADA systems
- Develop and maintain specifications, manuals, and project documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to clarify requirements
- Lead the creation and maintenance of HMI software projects and signal databases
- Integrate and commission HMI systems and SCADA Communication Gateways in test fields
- Facilitate testing with suppliers and customers, providing technical support during onsite commissioning
What You Bring
- Degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering
- Several years of experience in engineering HMI systems (preferably Copa Data Zenon) and remote-control interfaces, protocol converters, data concentrators (e.g. IPCOMM devices)
- Familiarity with communication protocols (IEC61850, IEC101, IEC104, OPC, DNP), corresponding communication structures and data processing
- Proven experience in project execution, customer clarifications, and team collaboration
- Excellent English communication skills
