We are looking for an (Senior) Analyst for our Risk Analytics team with a hands-on attitude that is keen to have an impact on our risk assessment by mitigating risk in terms of affordability / solvency for the external end customer in a balanced risk decision environment. The focus of the team lies on defining our risk strategy, its (further) development and the constant monitoring and steering according to it. In line with the company's overarching vision to become the most human-centric FinTech, the Risk Analytics team develops appropriate customer risk strategies for different markets and ecosystems. The organization is characterized by technology-based rapid learning and decision-making cycles and guided by a strong common purpose to jointly create value for all stakeholders. Strong footprint in DACH/NL & Nordics with further expansion ambition within Europe, e. g. UK.
The main responsibilities of the (Senior) Risk Analyst (m/f/d) are:
- Actively contributing in a high-performing team of credit risk & analytics experts
- Continuous improvement of underlying data analysis and existing business processes to support our product expansion in new areas
- Contribute with risk insights to pricing requests and is in close contact with various internal stakeholders for various analytical requirements
- Establish best practices for ad-hoc & deep dive analyses
- Active participation in cross-functional team "Risk Data Science" working on giant-leap changes in machine learning based models etc.
- Furthermore you interact with the BI experts to improve overall monitoring/reporting and the application of advanced analytics
- You will work in close collaboration with other functions such as Risk Product (RPS), Fraud Risk Steering, Data Science, Finance, etc
- The function is reporting into the Risk Analytics & Steering Lead, which is reporting into the Functional Unit Lead Customer Risk
What you should bring:
- You have a proven track-record in working in data analytics, ideally within the fast growing payment industry / fintech universe
- Relevant experience in a credit risk management environment
- Expertise in using various programming languages like SQL (mandatory) or Python and R (nice to have) to perform complex analytical tasks
- You have experience in working in an international, agile, cross-functional environment
- You embrace new technology and understand the potential of data and advanced analytics
- You are a strategic thinker with vision and a strong operator - you get things done
- Language: English (mandatory); German or Dutch is a plus
