A Snapshot of Your Day
As part of the dynamic Siemens Energy Sustainability team, you will make an important contribution to the energy transition by building a solid foundation for sustainability management: setting up an ESG data strategy, bring our sustainability positioning to the next level, conducting regular benchmarking, and engaging with external stakeholders. In your role, you will work with highly-skilled individuals from various Functions, the Business and external stakeholders. You will experience varied workdays that combine individual work and teamwork. You can flexibly organize your working hours and work both on-site as well as remote.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Develop an ESG data strategy in alignment with other functions within the existing ESG data landscape
- Define approaches to improve Siemens Energy's stakeholder-specific sustainability positioning
- Conduct benchmarking to assess peer and competitor performance and provide insights to support sustainability strategies
- Engage with customers through direct interaction or questionnaires (e.g. EcoVadis, NQC) to address needs and explore opportunities for collaboration
What You Bring
- University degree in Business Administration, Sustainability, or a related field
- Several years of experience in sustainability, ESG reporting, or related fields within large companies or consultancies
- Expertise in sustainability concepts, reporting standards (e.g., CSRD, EU Taxonomy, TCFD), and benchmarking practices
- Strong skills in positioning, communication, and preparing executive-level presentations
- Experience in customer engagement and leading virtual, international teams with strong project management skills
- Fluent in English; German language skills would be an advantage
