We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Administrator/Developer to join our team and help us build, maintain, and enhance our ServiceNow platform. You will be responsible for the overall configuration, development, and maintenance of the ServiceNow system to support our IT Service Management (ITSM) processes. The ideal candidate will have experience working with the ServiceNow platform in both administration and development capacities.
Key Responsibilities
Administration:
- Manage, configure, and support the ServiceNow platform, including incident, problem, change, asset, configuration, and knowledge management modules.
- Perform regular health checks, upgrades, and patch management for the ServiceNow platform.
- Monitor system performance, and optimize for scalability and stability.
- Implement ServiceNow best practices and policies, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
- Manage user roles, access controls, and permissions to ensure data security and integrity.
Development:
- Design, develop, and implement custom workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and scripts includes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions using ServiceNow.
- Create and customize ServiceNow forms, fields, and tables, along with performing advanced scripting of UI elements.
- Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, and configure integrations within ServiceNow.
- Implement and maintain ServiceNow automation solutions (Service Catalog, Request Management, Orchestration, etc.)
- Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance analytics within the platform.
Your Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Several years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow administration and development.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules: ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, or HR Service Delivery.
- Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, and other web technologies as used in ServiceNow development.
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Understanding of ITIL best practices and their implementation within ServiceNow.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow platform upgrades, patch management, and data import/export processes.
Preferred Skills:
- ServiceNow System Administrator and/or Developer certification.
- Experience with additional ServiceNow modules like Security Operations, GRC, CMDB, or CSM.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies for software development.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues within the platform.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Team-oriented, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to mentor junior team members.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
