Location: Remote within Germany, Romania, Spain.
For candidates located in Hamburg, Bucharest or Barcelona we offer a flexible hybrid model with 2 days per week onsite, the rest in home office.

About the role:
At Serrala, we are committed to creating user-centric digital experiences that simplify business processes and enhance productivity. We are looking for a talented UX Designer with a strong foundation in user research and a solid understanding of the SAP ecosystem, including SAP Fiori Design Guidelines. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping intuitive, research-driven designs that empower users and deliver impactful, measurable results for our clients.
As UX Designer, you will contribute to creating user-friendly SAP Fiori applications that blend deep research insights with innovative design principles. Collaborating closely with Product Owners and developers, you'll design interfaces that prioritize usability, efficiency, and accessibility. Your expertise in Figma, the Serrala Design System, and SAP standards will be crucial in delivering designs that enhance the SAP experience and provide exceptional value to our users.
Your Day to Day:
- User-Centered Research: Utilize design thinking and lean UX methodologies, using tools like user interviews, surveys, and workshops to identify and address the right problems effectively.
- Identify quick wins through data: Leverage data to make informed, user-centered design decisions that deliver value and impact.
- Prototyping and Iteration: Ensure visual and functional consistency across our products by using the Serrala Design System in Figma to create and maintain Fiori design components that align with SAP standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with Product Owners, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs align with technical capabilities and business goals.
- Advancing UX Maturity: Conduct in-depth research to evolve Serrala's UX documentation and ensure adherence to best practices. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by sharing fresh insights and strategies to enhance the overall user experience.
What makes you excel in this position:
- Bachelor's degree in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
- 3+ years of work experience in UX design.
- 1+ years of professional experience working with SAP Fiori Guidelines and SAP Theme Designer.
- Expertise in user research, with the ability to translate findings into actionable design insights and solutions.
- Proficiency in Figma for creating prototypes and managing design systems .
- A curious, fast-learning mindset with a commitment to staying up-to-date with design trends and SAP standards.
- Initial experience in facilitating and conducting workshops.
- Advanced knowledge of accessibility best practices to ensure inclusive and accessible design.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly present and explain design decisions to diverse audiences.
