YOUR TEAM
Our department is looking for a working student to support the development of external requirements for ADAS & AD functions in the brands of the Volkswagen Group. The main focus of our organizational unit is to define requirements for future safety and driving systems with the aim of reducing accidents and increasing driving comfort. Hence, we are always interested in gaining new insights from databases reaching from naturalistic driving to accidentology and aligning them with requirements from different consumer organizations or regulations.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Analyze databases for specific research questions (e.g. derive from naturalistic driving data glance patterns which refer to unintentional and intentional driving maneuvers, investigate influencing factors like speed profiles or driver distractions in accidents with lane departure)
- Documentation of the gained knowledge for national and international committee work
- Contribute to technical papers for international conferences
- Support the team in comparing the identified insights with requirements of consumer organizations or regulations in different markets
- Define test scenarios and test methodologies
WHO YOU ARE
- Enrolled student in the area of engineering, science, or software development
- Good programming skills (e.g. in Matlab or Python) with experience in data analytics
- Structured, analytical and independent way of working
- Fluent English and German language skills
NICE TO KNOW
- Duration: 6+ months
- 20 h/week, with the option to adjust to 35 h/week during semester break
