Working Student (f/m/d) CAD for HVDC plant design

Mode of Employment: Part-time / Fixed Term

A Snapshot of Your Day
As a working student, you will work in a multicultural team on the digitalization and automation of work processes in energy technology. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for the development of a digital twin of energy transmission systems in a CAD tool in order to make a significant contribution to the energy transition. Your curiosity and creativity are particularly in demand here!

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Support the plant design team of HVDC converter stations in finding optimal layouts
  • Create a 3D model in CAD (Autodesk Inventor)
  • Digitalization and optimization of our workflows
  • Support us in documenting and presenting our work


What You Bring

  • Currently studying electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a similar course of study and want to contribute to the German "Energiewende"
  • The Want to contribute, apply and deepen your knowledge of high-voltage and power engineering
  • Experience of CAD tools (preferably from Autodesk) is desirable
  • Basic knowledge in programming languages such as Matlab, C, C#, Fortran or JAVA
  • Motivation and able to familiarize yourself with new tasks independently
  • Interest in a wide range of topics and enjoy working across disciplines
