Our software can already be found in Volkswagen ID. models and will soon power Audi and Porsche vehicles with the E3 1.2 platform in 2024.

YOUR TEAM
To support our Portfolio Strategy team, we are currently looking for a working student in the division Portfolio Governance.
In your role you get first-hand experience in the overall portfolio strategy of CARIAD
and will be an integral part of the team that works on the definition of a competitive, consolidated, feasible and end-to-end portfolio aligned with all VW brands to maximize group wide value. GM drives the strategic portfolio and cycleplan by setting guardrails, providing governance and enabling synergies jointly across tech stack throughout the digital & product lifecycle including processes:
- Definition and enforcement of CARIAD's portfolio strategy
- Overarching steering of the CARIAD cycleplan & planning round across CARIAD products
- Central entry-point for new needs & requirements
- Safeguarding of a common architecture and platform strategy
- One face to the customer for the brands and group organization
- Overall responsibility for design of efficient collaboration models for product steering
- Steering of overall product decision cascade within CARIAD and group
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Support the definition and the rollout of goals and OKRs (objectives and key results) for the division Portfolio Strategy and across all teams within the division as well as implementation, rollout and regular review of OKR
- Plan, organize, prepare and moderate workshops within the portfolio strategy team
- Support the development and communication of collaboration models and job splits as well as cross-brand and cross-location with different stakeholders
- Operate in crossfunctional teams and contribute to company wide implementation of our corporate process model
- Support for preparation and documentation of top level product and tech committees and crossfunctional teams lead by the Portfolio Strategy as well as communication of decisions made
WHO YOU ARE
- Enrolled student in the area of economics, computer science or engineering
- High level of abstraction, analysis and structuring skills
- Analytical thinking, pragmatism, and the ability to focus on partial results while maintaining sight of the overall goal are essential qualities
- Good understanding of software or architecture processes, methods, project mangement and tool chains
- High conflict ability & resilience
- Curious, progressive, diverse
