YOUR TEAM
Our "Gateway" team is looking for a working student to help to us in supporting the optimization of the network and/or system performance. You will work closely together with our experienced architects to develop solutions which are helping us to improve our products even further.
In this team, we develop the core functions for the central gateways which are the heart of various car software platforms around the Volkswagen brands. We are in very close contact with various stakeholders throughout the different development areas to ensure that we can reach the best user experience with our products

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Support our team in executing virtual and real tests and analyzing the results
- Develop scripts and tools for analyzing the performance of the system and to identify improvement potentials
- Analyze the network architecture to optimize the switch configuration for better performance
- Support your team with development and realization of software prototypes
WHO YOU ARE
- Enrolled student in Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent field (please specify the expected date of your graduation or end of enrollment)
- Good Knowledge in C, C++, Python
- Knowledge in Linux or network protocols (TCP/UDP) and firewall architecture
- Demonstrated interest in vehicle technology
- Familiarity in Bash and Scripting is a plus
- Fluent in English (written and spoken). Basic German knowledge is a plus
- Proactive and team player mindset

- 20 h/week, up to 35 h/week during semester break
