Your future plans
In the role of an Asset and Contract Specialist you will be responsible to secure income from our existing wind and solar asset portfolio and contracts in Poland. You will be part of the Commercial Operations Renewables team within Commercial Asset Optimization. Our team maximises value from all of our income streams across eight countries. You will work together with three other colleagues to secure best commercial value for our Polish assets.

• Secure and optimise revenues generated from our Polish portfolio of assets and contracts
• Manage the marketing of power, green certificates and guarantees of origin
• Support the development of appropriate strategies, the design and the origination of new commercial products / services within RWE Renewables for Polish asset and contracts portfolio within a clearly defined risk governance framework
• Be responsible for any required (re-)negotiations of commercial aspects of existing contracts within the portfolio and relationship management of external partners
• Ensure preparation and accreditation of new assets, e.g. that all commercial requirements to receive subsidies for new assets are fulfilled
• Ensure regulatory and internal compliance, e.g. EMIR and REMIT deal reporting, URE (Energy Regulatory Office)
• Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with other functions in RWE Renewables and RWE group
• Promote and foster a strong entrepreneurial and performance culture

Your powerful skills

• Business or analytical / quantitative university degree with at least 3 years of experience in the area of Finance, Economics or Engineering
• Knowledge of electricity markets
• Strong analytical, numerical skills and attention to details
• Proactive personality with the willingness to actively contribute
• Confident appearance with excellent presentation and communication skills
• Fluency in English and Polish are a prerequisite
