Your Tasks

In your role as a

“Manager-Process Implementation”

, you will partner with Production centers, R&D Formula labs, category BPSC, Engineering & other SC functions to primarily drive execution of innovation projects. You’ll be directly responsible for leading a team of Process engineers working towards landing the innovation projects to the BDF manufacturing network and would focus on building people capabilities from a compounding & process engineering perspective within BDF Global Processing Technology group. You’ll be also central towards ensuring

“One Voice”

of Global Process Technology group for rest of internal & external partner functions.


Your tasks broadly include:

  • Managing a team of expert process engineers based out of HQ & regions representing global processing technology in SC-Core teams.
  • Lead the process engineering resource management for seamless interfacing with partner functions on IIM projects.
  • Develop and leverage global & regional synergies through pragmatic resourcing models for process engineers from HQ & regions.
  • Partner with Fill & Pack & SC Category Team leads ensuring necessary collaboration to seamlessly land IIMs.
  • Early engagement with R&D formula development labs to ensure necessary alignments.
  • Partner with PCs to support vertical ramp up of new innovations & post launch support.
  • Actively manage escalations on processing topics from R&D and PC’s ensuring appropriate closures.
  • Key interface with Excellence & Early Process development teams within SC-Technology group.
  • First point of contact for compounding & process technology topics for stakeholders within and outside the technology function in Beiersdorf.
  • Talent acquisition, training & career management for the process engineering community.

Your Profile

  • Detailed understanding of end-to-end innovation process from pre-development to serial production.
  • Master’s degree in chemistry or chemical Engineering, a degree in Business Administration / Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.
  • Strong background with hands on experience on hardcore processing technologies for skin & personal care products.
  • Proven track record of stakeholder management & functional leadership
  • Strong ability to navigate in ambiguous environment driving cross functional concurrence.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, fluent English skills required, other languages are a plus.
