Senior Sitecore Architect

Your Tasks

As a Senior Sitecore Architect, you will be responsible for the architecture, design, and development of multi-country web applications using Sitecore, C#, and MVC .NET. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Architecting and Designing: Develop robust architectures for multi-country/multilingual web applications using Sitecore 10.x, ensuring scalability and performance
• Implementation: Implement solutions using Node JS and React and next JS as headless frameworks on Azure Infrastructure
• Development: Utilize strong development skills in ASP.NET MVC, WebAPI, .NET, JavaScript, Ajax, JQuery, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS/ReactJS to deliver high-quality applications
• Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into comprehensive solution designs that align with business objectives. Create detailed architectural diagrams and documentation to guide the development team in implementing scalable, maintainable, and high-performance Sitecore solutions
• Database Management: Design and normalize databases, preferably using SQL Server and Azure SQL, ensuring optimal performance and security
• Caching Strategies: Implement and optimize caching strategies to enhance application performance and scalability, ensuring efficient data retrieval and reduced load times for Sitecore and integrated systems
• Search Integration: Implement and manage search solutions using Solr, Azure and/or AI Semantic Search
• Content Serialization: Implement content serialization strategies to effectively manage Sitecore Information Architecture and Back-End Architecture in a headless environment
• API Layer Development: Design, develop, and integrate microservices and RESTful APIs, ensuring deep knowledge of the API layer to facilitate seamless communication between Sitecore and other applications
• DevSecOps: Implement DevSecOps practices using Microsoft Azure to ensure secure and efficient development processes
• Cloud Setup: Set up and manage scaled Sitecore applications in Azure Microsoft cloud environments

Your Profile

Required:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Overall experience of 7+ years with at least 3+ years of relevant experience in Sitecore architecture
• Strong technical experience in architecting, designing, and developing multi-country/multilingual web applications using Sitecore, C#, MVC .NET and NodeJs
• Deep knowledge of Sitecore architecture, common API classes and security models
• Proficiency in ASP.NET MVC, WebAPI, .NET, JavaScript, Ajax, JQuery, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS/ReactJS
• Strong database experience, including design and normalization, preferably with SQL Server and Azure SQL
• Strong experience in designing, deploying, and managing applications on Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including knowledge of Azure services and security best practices
• Familiarity with search providers such as Solr and Azure and AI Semantic Search
• Experience with content serialization and Sitecore Information Architecture
• Knowledge of web services, and web integration technologies (REST, SOAP, XML)
• Experience with DevSecOps practices using Azure
• Good understanding of MACH architecture (Microservices, API-First, Composable, Cloud-Native, Headless) is a plus
• Strong English Skills, German is a plus
• Collaborative and innovative mindset

Preferred:

• Sitecore training/certification
• Microsoft certification professional
