Embark on a transformative journey in RWE Renewables IT / OT Controlling. Join a collaborative team where your skills shape success. On the one hand side you will be responsible for the monitoring, reporting and visualization of Cloud Costs applying FinOps measures ensuring cost optimal usage in the second area of responsibility you will handle contract information to ensure visibility of contract consumption, timely renewal or cancelation and invoice approval.

About the role

• Cost Analysis and Optimization: Analyse and monitor Azure Cloud costs, identify savings potential, and implement cost-reduction measures
• Reporting and Dashboards: Create regular reports and dashboards to visualize cloud costs and usage for various stakeholders
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in creating and monitoring cloud budgets and forecasting future cloud costs
• Contract Administration: Oversee and maintain a set of IT contract in regard to volume, costs and duration
• Documentation & Governance: Prepare relevant documentation gather necessary approvals and administer relevant IT systems

Job requirements

• Ongoing studies in the field of Business Administration, Finance, Business Informatics, Computer Science, or comparable
• You possess strong analytical skills and have the ability to interpret complex cloud data
• You have a basic understanding of the Azure Cloud platform, experience with cloud cost management tools is an advantage
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English and can communicate with stakeholders at various levels of the organization in an appropriate and service-oriented manner
• Regular presence on-site in Essen is required
